FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We’re here to help.
How does CACAYE differ from other clean skin care brands?
The power of our fermentation is unique.
Fermented formulas promote luminous skin through supercharged proprietary botanical formulas. Fermentation is a natural process that breaks down botanicals for maximum potency and absorption. By realizing the full potential of each ingredient, CACAYE offers maximum efficacy and maximum results. CACAYE’s fermented formulas are more easily absorbed, feeding the skin's microbiome, and strengthening it against environmental stressors for a healthy, radiant appearance.
Why is CaCay oil so special?
At the heart of all CACAYE products is CaCay – a precious nut oil native to the Amazon that is rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins, making it a true skincare powerhouse. Applied daily, CaCay is miraculous – improving the appearance of lines, wrinkles, tone, dehydration, dark spots, irritation, and sensitivity without an oily or sticky finish.
How are your products formulated?
CACAYE formulations rely on expert sourcing of the most skin-nourishing fruits, flowers, and oils on earth. These potent botanicals are then supercharged in a breakthrough lab fermentation process. Fermentation further activates the ingredients, producing higher vibration proprietary blends with a higher density of nutrients and amino acids.
How can I find out more information about a product?
More information is available on each individual product page. If you have any other questions, let us know at support@CACAYE.com.
Why do your formulas include fermented ingredients?
Fermentation activates CACAYE’s botanical ingredients, increasing their concentration of antioxidants and promoting numerous benefits to the skin: helping defend against aging free radicals, increasing collagen production, repairing elasticity, easing inflammation, reducing breakouts, and improving texture.
What makes the Cacaye fermentation process unique?
CACAYE uses a patented process to facilitate fermentation. This technique supercharges our botanical ingredients to increase their free fatty acid content while enhancing other skin-nourishing properties.
How is the CaCay nut harvested?
We believe in the integral cultivation of the CaCay tree and strive to make use of as many of its valuable parts as possible. Through wild harvest, we seek to achieve "Zero Waste" through the comprehensive use of the fruit and its derivatives. Through careful supplier selection, we focus on:
• Wild harvest generates income for indigenous communities.
• The CaCay crop supports planetary food safety and food reserves, as cultivation allows the harvest of nuts, oil, protein, and honey from the tree.
• CaCay is a profitable alternative suitable for illicit crop substitution and poverty eradication in the countryside.
• To meet increasing customer demand for CaCay Oil, we are supporting the reforesting of CaCay in Colombia’s Amazon and Orinoco regions.
• Promoting biodiversity as a competitive factor for Colombian economic development.
• Generating employment and development in remote areas.
• Establishing a source of innovation for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and food industries.
Can I use your formulas if I have a nut allergy?
